About Rebecca Potter

Rebecca Potter is a professor at the University of Dayton where she is affiliated with the Hanley Sustainability Institute and the Department of English. She was the inaugural program director of the Sustainability program at UD until 2022. With a long history of environmental activism and community engagement, she currently serves on the Village of Yellow Springs Environmental Commission, is on the board for Homefull, a non-profit organization addressing food and housing insecurity in Ohio, and is a member of the advisory board for the Sustainability Curriculum Consortium (SCC), an international organization furthering sustainability education. With the SCC and AASHE (the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education) she is the lead editor for a new book series, Practical Approaches to Sustainability Education. Rebecca is thrilled to be part of Agraria’s efforts to further research and education in bioregionalism and restorative agriculture.
